Our Wānanga: From Sunrise to Sunset

To our people, to our rangatahi, the call goes out for us to gather under the mantle of kapa haka, to hold steadfast to the life force that connects us to the world, the land, and our whakapapa. This is a day that begins in the light of dawn, ignited by the strength of our Haa, keeping the Ahi Kā burning bright – to illuminate, to heal, and to awaken the memory within us.

Join us for these special wānanga, held in Kirikiriroa on January 22nd, Kāwhia on the 23rd, Kemureti on the 24th, and concluding in Te Awamutu on the 25th. Through the unity of our voices and spirit, we reclaim the sovereignty of our hauora. This is a path for the generations to come – to sustain the life of our mokopuna, and to uplift our people to stand with mana.

Hold firm, stand strong, walk with pride. Join us, as we breathe life into the future that guides us all.
